Walking with God through Suffering

Suffering is a fact of life in our fallen world, but we do not walk through it alone. In His grace, God redeems and rewrites our stories of pain. Join us as we learn from Dr Katherine Thompson about what it looks like to walk with God in the midst of our suffering.

– Jesus Christ as our brother in suffering

About Katherine:
Dr Katherine Thompson is a clinical social worker, psychotherapist and academic. In her book Christ Centred Mindfulness: Connection to Self and God Dr Thompson draws on the rich Christian tradition to present Christian mindfulness exercises that help us slow down, connect to what is happening inside ourselves and make space to listen for God’s guidance in everyday life. In her book, The Discipline of Suffering: Redeeming Our Stories, Dr Thompson integrates faith and psychotherapeutic strategies to help use move from a place of brokenness to redemption.
