Karen (Kaz) Penn

Kaz's childhood in Papua New Guinea as a missionary kid profoundly influenced her. Returning to PNG with her husband, they spent nine years as boarding home parents, first with Wycliffe Bible Translators and then with MAF.

Since 2013, the Penns have been in Mareeba, Far North Queensland, where Michael serves as the Stores Manager for MAF. Kaz trained in prayer for inner healing through Ellel Ministries in Sydney and is a certified Spiritual Director. She's passionate about guiding others to strengthen their connection with God and overcome any obstacles in their relationship with Him, particularly helping missionaries deepen their faith and find healing from past wounds.

Kaz and Michael have five beautiful adult children.
